i have downloaded all the files and them uploaded them to my site(which is hosted by trap17.net) and i have got to the install page.
when i have filled in all the questions and pressed submit, i get an error telling me my administrators email is invalid.
could anyone tell me what type of format the email has to be in?? or where i could be going wrong?
It should work with any valid e-mail address. Try with a different address.
i used my yahoo.co.uk one and my hotmail.com one.
i also just tried one from where i work. i keep getting this message.
PunBB reported: The administrator e-mail address you entered is invalid. Please go back and correct
Try re-uploading your install.php script. It must be corrupt.
ive tried that.
i thought it could have been a problem with firefox, so i tried explorer, but i get the same problem.
ill try re uploading the whole thing..... if that doesnt work do you have any other suggestions?
what excatly did you type in the email field?
well at first i typed stuart_farnaby@yahoo.co.uk
then i tried stu_the_blonde_one@hotmail.com
but then i thought that i might need an email from the actual site im creating....... but ive had no luck yet 
i still cant get it too work.
does anyone else have any ideas...... or would anyone be kind enough to actually log onto my website buildy thingy and actually tell me if im doing it right???
i have just found out that the web provider i am registered with doesnt alow .tpl files for the free accounts........is that the problem???
No, but it could also be that they're killing certain PHP functions, causing the check to fail

so apart from mocking the site which is hosting the site.........does anyone have anything else to say on the matter??

I'd ask them to take a look at it and figure it out

as this whole thing is just pi**ing me off big time.
could anyone recommend another place where i could host my site, all i want from it is to be free, just so i can ahve a play with creating a forum
