hi,
i was running punbb happily till the day it gave that error. i searched some in the forum, but couldnt solve it:
Error: Unable to fetch guest information.
any help welcome.thnx!

You need to repair your users table
You can do that via phpMyAdmin, via the DB management plugin, or by running the SQL command:

Same deal, but replace "users" with "posts"
