Topic: Installation problems

I am trying to run the PunBB through byethost.com and I am having trouble installing it on there. I've opened up the installation but when I click "Start install," it gives me this:

PunBB reported: Unable to connect to MySQL server. MySQL reported: Access denied for user 'mrfettuccine.bye'@'localhost' (using password: YES)</i>

What I found weird was that my user name was cut off. My user name is "mrfettuccine.byethost3.com" but it gets cut off. For the Database server hostname, I just put localhost but I don't know if I was supposed to put anything else. I'm not sure what is wrong but apparently it is something with the "mysql.php" file but if anyone could help me fix it, that'd be great. So please help since I need to get this done by Wednesday... Thanks!

It's actually a problem on your end wink
I don't believe those are valid MySQL details (since I don't think that Rickard would have limited the amount of characters in a MySQL username). Go talk to your host and ask them what the valid details are wink
