Topic: Pale symbols...

Hello, my problem is that every single letter, in exception for nicknames or topics' names, is pale under IE. It's just too bright, the color is too weak. At the same time it works correctly at some browsers of this type, so I guess it's a matter of wrong settings, etc. What should I do?

Thanks in adnvance!

Re: Pale symbols...

Which style are you using? Can we have a link so that we can see for ourselves?

Re: Pale symbols...

A screen shot is no help in figuring it out, a link is needed. Have you got any other stylesheets running on the site which could be interferring.

Re: Pale symbols...

That is certainly not a PunBB issue. If it was somebody else would have reported it by now. The only way I can duplicate that is by going to Tools/Interet Options and then changing the browsers colour scheme though a strange windows theme could also be a potential cause.

Re: Pale symbols...

No other styles, definetly. I don't wanna play the smarter one, but what kind of info, other than the screenshot, can a link provide you?

You see, gentlemen, the problem is about PunBB-IE compability. Your forums are "blurred" or "pale" as well on some browsers of this type, so it's surely not a matter concerning one site.

I don't whether you're interested/willing in solving this matter or even able to, but hey, never underestimate the moderators. Cheers.

EDIT: ty for last post!

Re: Pale symbols...

Sorry. I tried all the settings I can think of but I still can't duplicate that effect whatever I try. Are you using a standard xp theme?

Re: Pale symbols...

It looks as if you've decreased the font size in your browser a lot. What if you reset it to the default (View->Text size)?
