Topic: Set Permissions for Guests

For some reason guests are allowed to post on our forum at www.prhymemates.com/forum/

I have changed the settings even to not allow Guests to view the forum but nothing is working. I have checked and the group id of the guest user is 3 so that can't be the problem. I converted from phpbb to punbb some time ago if this makes a difference.

Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

Did you set this through forum specific options, or through Admin>User groups?

In the description of "Read board" for guest user group permissions:

This setting applies to every aspect of the board and can therefore not be overridden by forum specific settings.

That's really the only thing that comes to mind for me.

With that permission set, guests shouldn't even be able to view your boards at all. Do you have any mods installed?
