Topic: Verify registration emails not working,No route to host."

First of all, thanks for the great Forum software.
Installed and everything works fine except for 1 big problem.
I have enabled the verify registraion option for new user signup and
when creating some test new users I get the following error.
"(65) No route to host." I
I have correctly input several smtp servers including auth smtp, comcast, and
yahoo, with the same results. I have no problem using the same SMTP servers
in my local outlook. Leaving the smtp fields blank yields same result.
The I use yahoo web hosting to run my site.
Any help or feedback appreciated...

Are you sure you're supposed to enter an external SMTP server in admin/options?

Have you tried to leave the SMTP server field blank to use your local mail server?
