It seems that the word filter does not apply to the thread subject? I've tested it on my two forums, haven't on this one for obvious reasons (in case it doesn't work, as i think, i don't want to be banned!)
Surely there is a problem here??
It works fine on my forum. Are you sure that it's configured correctly on your forum?
test it in the test section here. you can always delete it if it works

I dunno, he might run into a little trouble testing it here.
It does work, but make sure that you actually enable "censor words" in admin_options.php. Also, the word filter in PunBB is case-sensitive.
in the test section it should b fine
I was referring to the fact that he might have "trouble" because none of the words censored here are English.
