hi guys/gals i am new at building websites and i have winged it up to here i have got the forums part of the website installed and have received a message from the admin saying log in and go to admin contol panel to setup forums.. i cant find the admin panel though.. i know ur prob laughing at me.. oh well someone please help me.. thank you
it is in the navigation bar at the top.

hey i still cant seem to find it... when i got to this page and then i click on punBB it takes me straight into the forums.. when i get there im not seeing any way to get to the control panel..

This looks like the thread for me. Don't be downhearted. I only found out what the Internet was 3 months ago, so they can all laugh at me instead. I've now got my website up, want to put a forum on, but am having great problems with the vocabulary of this site. Please, can anyone be bothered to go back to the beginning and tell me what a zipped file is, how you unzip it, at what point I have to put my forum kit 'behind my web' " (whatever that means) and how I go about setting up a database.......and how to tie my shoelaces.

Use WinZip http://www.winzip.com/ to unzip the file.
You can ask your host for support on setting up a database etc, that's what you pay them for.
Yes, but I've had trouble there. One line replies with terms I don't get, followed by an hours wait for a reply to what does .... mean adds up to half an hours work taking a week.
