If you had removed everything from your search index first, the backup would be smaller wink
I just imported it locally: it worked fine (and, without anything in the search tables, it's below 2MB, meaning it can be imported properly). To get search to work you'd have to rebuild the search index, but you could do it

He just meant that by removing the search index from the backup, it would be smaller and thus easier to restore.

Obviously, you've already been successful with the restore, so this is no longer an issue.

Sure. Just delete any insert queries for prefixsearch_cache, prefixsearch_matches, or prefixsearch_words (where prefix is your DB prefix).
