Topic: Move Post 1.3 + Merge Topics

My first mod Upgraded

Hope the new features will be helpfull :
- Select several post and move them in one step (thanks to 505)
- Merge several topics in one step.

This 1.3 version in not related to PunBB 1.3 Is only for the 1.2.* smile

one request: with your mod you can move a post, but can you also add a function to make the post the start of a new thread?

- extend and sort the topic's list
- move post in other forum
- move all post in one topic to an other (in one step)
- create a new thread

Go to a message, click on "move" on your choosen message, and read the instructions ..

This function doesn't work :

Choose the reception topic
Choose eventually another forum and select the destination topic.

NO, it doesn't work with IE and with Firefox. Version 1.0 works fine, but this function in 1.1 doesn't work even on your demo site...

I choose topic and press submit. AND NO ACTION ;/

I did some modification to your mod, i connected ver 1.0 and 1.1 Here is a screenshot. Now works fine. Thank for goog mod wink

Edit: Can you tell me which 'submit' button did you click on ?

Edit 2: for the connection, be sure to use the modify function.php from the 1.1 ! There was a bug in the 1.0 ...

I tried to mark Move All Post , but it also doesnt work, just moves one most in my edited version, in yours - again no action at all ...

I've ran in to a couple of things with your mod:

The "move to a different topic" function seems to work. But the "move topic to a different forum" doesn't. Or maybe it does.. but not the way it should! I tried to move a topic, pressed "submit" and seemingly nothing happened. But somehow it did copy another topic form another forum to that location! When I tried to undo this by moving it back I got this error:
"Notice: Undefined index: new_fid in /inet/coupe-fiat.nl/forum/movepost.php on line 49"

Also: you hardcoded "Retour" as "Back" in movepost.php
Maybe this should be in the language file?


And finally, here's the dutch translation:

Thanks for these feedbacks
1 - The dutch translation will be include on the next release (Translation by HJH ?)
2 - I forget to put 'Go back' in the language, will be done for the next release
3 - It seems, in few cases, than the submit button "freeze" the mod : I really don't know why, and worst I never reproduce it !!! So it's extremly difficult to debug...
