I was just curious, aside from the official forums here, what are the biggest PunBB forums out there?

Mine:
This forum has 9 registered users, 174 topics and 2301 posts
... perhaps not that much ... but this is from the Admin page (showing the size of the sql tables) ... and I think I might be in the lead there

an inofficial forum for a computer sim (that's why I have an AC Cobra in my Avatar... I have made that car for that sim)... so I have over 300 files attached and so ... that's why the size of the db is large...

Approximately 28.000 posts... Forum at Chalmers (Electrical Engineering). Not up yet though. (Might switch back to our old (own made) forum agan though, not my decision)

The reason for the small size is that it's only availble inside my LAN, it will go online soon tho.

Pretty good for my board, although I can't seem to get a password emailed to me for this one The only problem I've ran into is a "unable to delete search results" that some members claim they get when they try to do searches, but I personally haven't ran into it yet. It does seem to operate quite well though, even when the boards have a heavy day. Highest amount of hits taken by that board in one day has been 50,000 impressions

About the e-mail not working. I checked my SMTP server logs and I found a lot of:
Oct 12 21:46:15 [postfix/smtp] 21A94A2B4E: to=<gduncan229@aol.com>, relay=none, delay=3610, status=deferred (connect to mailin-04.mx.aol.com[64.12.136.153]: No route to host)
and a few:
Oct 15 12:00:00 [postfix/smtp] 21A94A2B4E: to=<gduncan229@aol.com>, relay=none, delay=227635, status=deferred (Name service error for name=aol.com type=MX: Host not found, try again)
Can't really say on which end the problem lies though.
The "Unable to delete search results" has been reported before. I have, however, not been able to replicate it. Do you think you could enable DEBUG in your forum and instruct your users to save the error message when/if they encounter the problem again?

That looks like a search that included a username which in turn includes a single ' . Perhaps :)

Yes, of course! I have forgotten to run addslashes() on it.
gduncan: It will be fixed in the next version of PunBB. If you want to fix it yourself, open up search.php and go to line 426. Replace
$old_searches[] = '\''.$row[0].'\'';
with
$old_searches[] = '\''.addslashes($row[0]).'\'';

I just figured out why the e-mail to gduncan above never got through. My ISP (Telia) blocks all outgoing e-mail to aol.com as a part of their fight against spam. Go figure :)
