Topic: new installation - how to?

hi, i hope somebody can help me coz i'm a total newbie in punBB.

i've read the documentation but the installation explaination is very short.  try follow as instructed in the documentation but failed.

i created a directory: discuss.myrenaultkangoo.info

and i downloaded the latest punBB version and uploaded it to that particular directory.  but i believe i need to create a MySQL database first.  I'm not sure how to do that.

i'm hosting with a hosting company and try create a database but i am not allowed to do so and also not sure how to do one too. 

please help, if possible!

What host? What magment system?(cpanel etc.). If your host dosen't allow you to make databases you may need to find a new host. or use a service like http://www.mypunnbb.com .
