Topic: topic ratings

Hi,
Would it be possible to have a topic rating system?
This is where a topic is posted and underneath the first post only a rating system or either like karma or a star rating system could be used to rate that topic as a whole. I don't know if anybody could help with this as I have no idea where to start...

Best to just wait for a response in this thread http://punbb.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=11123 because PunBB was made to avoid such bloatage.
