Topic: Forum not running

Hi I am a moderater of Beary Cheap Chat forum ... the forum is not up and running. We can get into the site but we can't read the posts. What needs to be done to get it running again?? Hope you can help as there are alot of sad people out there who will be having withdrawal symptoms ...

I am also a moderator at Beary Cheaps forum and yes that is us! Can you tell us what the problem is? We can all log in and even post just fine - we just cant retrieve any posts to read them. HELP.....

You have to run a repair command on the posts table
the SQL for that is "repair table posts"

Our administrator would do that - but the post table is missing! What do we do now......:-(

That's not the error you would get then (well, I guess if it's horribly corrupted), but ah well
Restore the forum from a backup?
