Can someone write me up a script similar to the "Recent Discussions" thing Kennel has going on this site?  Expect, I want to to show users online.

The are _ members and _ guests browsing the forums.
There are _ users browsing this site.

I'm sure its really easy to do, but my efforts have come up dry.

Take the code from the recent discussions thingy and replace the code after "require 'include/common.php';" with the code from index.php starting with "// Collect some statistics from the database".
