Topic: once 1.3 is out !
Will there still be fixes for 1.2 if someone find some bugs? ... and how hard will it be to convert from 1.2 with all those mods and styles. I am a bit paranoid hehe

None of the styels or mods will work. The whole markup has been rewritten and 1.3 will have support for "extensions" meaning that mods will be one-click installs. Therefor, if you need those mods, you should stay with 1.2 until they have been ported over to the new system. 1.2 will probably be supported for a while and updated if there are any serious security issues found. Atleast until most people have gone over to 1.3 (I think the porting of mods will play an important role here).
yeah 1.3 is very diffrent click on the link of the bottom of my sig..
thanks Jansson I thought so ... well 1.2 will stay at my soccer forum it seems
Dharmil : Yes I saw it and it is great !!! I cannot wait for release. I have a big plan hehe
I'll have alot of work with the porting
1.2 will be updated if there are any security issues. At least for a while. I probably won't bother with updating the 1.2 tree for non-security related issues though.
great and I love 1.3 ... can't wait ...
I just saw !!! it has subscriptions on page ... wow
WHEN hehe ?

1.2.x has a subscriptions page already: click "Show your subscribed topics" on the footer of the index page.
Well at least thats confirmed my view that the footer is not the right place for useful stuff. Thanks for that.
I feel stupid !
Actually, I asked exactly that question when I first started using PunBB, so don't feel bad, you're by no means the only one.
Which is also why the moderator controls got moved. People were always asking how to make things sticky etc which is a sure sign of an interface fault, things should be obvious.
new 1.3 looks very good. Installed it on my home server and playing with it.....I can say it is big improvment in looks.
dharmil : hope you didn't put offline 1.3 test because of me

Nobody said this was ready for beta testing. Please do not report bugs.
Those are not bugs ... ! It is server problem
I posted a little under testing account since it was so easy to guess what the password is.

Oh for sure.
I moved a few of the links from the footer... in fact I only left the ones I use once every so often.
You might get a nice surprise when you have enough posts or topics to generate more than one page. Also take a look at it in Opera, Mozilla or Firefox with the page navigation extension.

I meant the Firefox extension.
um i am not sure is it this one https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/959/
Don't worry about it, if you don't know what I'm talking about you almost certainly have no use for it.
oo alright then
and when will the admin_extensions file be placed online
When Rickard places it online (which depends on how far along he is)
