They are the same thing. MyPunBB just provides a pre-installed PunBB forum for those who don't have access to servers capable of running PunBB or don't know how to install it.

You guys do know that you don't have to use MyPunBB, right? I'm sure Connor knows what's going on. Posting over and over again about how it's down really won't help anything.
