Topic: Installation Troubles

I just recently installed punbb and it doesn't seem to be working.  I turned on debug and here is the error i get when trying to access the index.php:

An error was encountered
File: /xxxx/xx/xxxxxx/htdocs/forum/index.php
Line: 64

PunBB reported: Unable to fetch category/forum list
Database reported: Unknown column 'c.id' in 'field list' (Errno: 1054)

Can someone help me?

That's odd. It almost sounds as if one of the tables wasn't correctly created. Could you try re-installing? You will have to drop the tables before running install.php again.

config.php doesn't exist or is corrupt. Please run install.php to install PunBB first.

this message i got after the install.php ....what does it mean?

Did you create the config.php file, as instructed in the last step of the install?
