Topic: index loads slowly in ie

So, I did all my site design/testing etc on linux in firefox, and then when I finally got around to trying it out in IE, I met a few surprises.  Along with all the expected CSS errors, my forum page acts oddly... it takes a long time to load.  I don't know why it should be different than in firefox/opera, but it is.  Is this a common problem?  I searched the forums here and didn't run into it, but has anyone experienced it before?  My forum is located at http://godiva.eos.uoguelph.ca/~climb/forum/ .  Thanks,

It loads fine in IE6, Win XP Pro for me.

Fine here as well in IE6 and IE7b3 on XP Pro and XP Home. I can't see any real difference in loading speed between IE, Firefox and Opera. It certainly loads much quicker than your home page except for the banner which lags behind. Do you get the problem when viewing as a guest or only when logged in?

P.S. You need to sort out the font size in IE.

Thank you for your help.  It could be an admin issue, in which case I don't need to worry about it because I don't much care if it's slow for me (and I probably won't be using IE anyway).  Funny that it should be different between the browsers.  I will also take a look at the font size thing.  Once again, much appreciated!
