Topic: PunBB in the middle of a 3 column CSS layout?

What I would like to do is have PunBB run in the middle column of this layout: http://webhost.bridgew.edu/etribou/layouts/skidoo_too/

I would want to use the left column for links to each forum.  I would want to use the right column for google adsense.  If possible, the middle column would display punBB forum topics (not a forum list).  I am going for a slashdot type style where users cannon create the news stories (forum topics) but can reply to them. 

I am open to different CSS templates that could be used to accomplish what I want.  Are my goals plausible and easy enough to accomplish?  Does anyone see any potential problems or easier ways to go about this?

If someone could point me in the right direction of how I could go about creating a site like I mentioned I would appreciate it.

Try editing main.tpl

go look at http://www.oswd.org/ for templates free tons of templates to pick from. then edit the main.tpl like smartys said.

My stuff or my style might sux, but atleast I'm willing to help when I can.

it seems squished at smaller resolutions

Wow, thank you for the *very* quick replies.  It's good to know what I wanted could be done.  I will now learn how to do the modifications to the main.tpl.

I added a download link to the above post if anyones interested, I did it quickly so forgive the sloppiness(I just pasted the html and it wrapped oddly which I didn't fix =P )
