I would love to see one to go from VB to punbb. Punbb is so much nicer to work with.

I just noticed vB has 111 tables 
And it's DB is 10.7MB too =/

Wait are you saying Smarty there is a convertor from vbulletin to punbb? LINK me. VB has more features I will admit but I can mod punbb in an hour to do all kinds of crazy cool stuff, like my "myspace" clone.

And to answer the original question, vBulletins import system supposedly supports PunBB.

elbekko: No idea. I know its its called ImpEx but not having a licensed copy of vBulletin I've never had a look at it.

it's in the download section of the MEMBER'S area at vb.com. so you need a license to get it.
better question: will the migration tool here be updated for 1.3 and other boards version? i have a vb board waiting for 1.3 but i can't convert until the tool is updated.
i emailed Chacmool and hope to hear from him.

Well, ImpEx doesn't support a PunBB > 1.2.10, so my migration test has failed for some reason.

Indeed, it only supports 1.1.x
And as for the convertor, I'm sure someone will update it

According to the vBulletin forum, ImpEx 1.61+ supports PunBB 1.2.10 -> vB 3.6 though why I should care I don't really know.

Ah, k. I was reading the documentation (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/impex) and it claims that it only supports 1.1.5
