Topic: quote post not working as used to

All of a sudden when a user is quoted in a post the new post shows the quote as:

instead of the usual table/box as seen on these forums.

Any idea of what is causing this?

And did you edit parser.php?

the parser.php file may have been modified by the previous programmer
