You need to change it in your database. It's in the config table.
the real easy simple sql command to do that is:
update config set conf_value='1.2.14' where conf_name='o_cur_version';Also, a concern... I notice the changes from 1.2.13 to 1.2.14 concerning the install.php file that changes all the:
TEXT NOT NULL DEFAULT '',
to just
TEXT,
now... but the HDIFF doesn't go into details on how to update current db's that were already created with the former install.php installations (pre 1.2.14)...
Is this an important sql db update or do we need not to be concerned over our current database structure?

That sounds like you made one of the changes incorrectly. Try again.

Then download a fresh copy of PunBB, upload the update_12_to_1214 script from extras the the root of the forum, run the script and then delete it.
