Topic: Denial Of Service!!

Hi again,
Im worried about my site, some dudes i know are attacking my site (a punbb forum) with a D.o.S!!
I disabled the seach module and the user list to guests, but they still can put ti down... sad
I have no access to the apache log, so i can not view how the hell are they makeing the attack sad

All i know the MYSQL is reporting TOO MANY connections!!!

How can i stop this??

Err, how do you know it's a DoS and not just your host giving you too few MySQL connections to use? I'd talk to them (and make sure $p_connect is set to false in config.php)

yes, I know it´s a D.o.S because they told me... and the only one that uses that mysql server ist me!
and... yes..$p_connect is set to false

Nop, i dont use a dedicated server, i use virtual hosting...

Talk to your host and see what they can figure out from the webserver logs

As a side note: how do you have a VPS without access to Apache logs? hmm

My guess would be he ment shared hosting, but even most shared hosting allows access to apache logs for your own domains.
