Topic: How can the Administrator/Moderator delete an inappropriate posting?

Greetings,

Actually the Subject line basically says it all.  If someone posts something that the Administrator or Moderator considers to be inappropriate, is there a way that they can delete the posting?  I know that it's possible to censor certain words but I don't know if it's possible to delete a post and if it is possible I don't know how to go about doing it.

Thank you.

Re: How can the Administrator/Moderator delete an inappropriate posting?

Unless the inappropriate message is posted by the Administrator (..), Moderators and Administrator can delete any posts by pressing
Report | Delete | Edit | Quote
at the bottom right of the post.

Re: How can the Administrator/Moderator delete an inappropriate posting?

Thank you for your reply.  I thought that the Delete item meant that the person who posted could decide to delete his/her post, not that the Administrator or Moderator could do it as well.  I certainly hope that the Administrator will not be the one with the inappropriate post since that would be me!  big_smile

Thanks again.  I do appreciate your help.

Err, just because the Administrator posts doesn't mean that the post can't be deleted tongue
Moderators can certainly edit/delete admin posts

Aha!!!  Well, right now I'm both administrator and moderator, so if as administrator I delete the inappropriate message posted by the moderator, or if as moderator I delete the inappropriate message posted by the moderator, then it's time to pack it all in.   lol
