Topic: Grabbing Latest unread posts per user..

Afternoon folks,


I first want to say that i LOVE PunBB.. its great! I have my website running from it, (using it as backend) at http://www.bulldogusers.com/.


My question is, users have asked for a way to see the latest posts that they havent read, this would be on a per user basis rather than using the active function/call/whatever that extern.php provides, as that just shows the most active threads.. now i know this should be possible because the image next to each thread is different if there are new posts that i havent read.. but i havent worked out how i could achieve this..

I have same need, but can't find a solution. I have users logged into my site, and also into punbb at same time. I just want to pull a list of new posts for them that shows if I goto /search.php?action=show_new

Any ideas?
