'userlist' => 'userlist',i changed it to
'userlist' => 'roster',and when i click on my index page it just comes with the page filled with words and it doesnt work

Can you please paste the entirety of common.php? It sounds like you may have made a mistake.

No, don't paste the rendered page; paste the source code (open the file in whatever editor you use).
