Topic: Index.php displays code, not page when run

I'm admittedly a newbie, but I have installed punbb, but when I attempt to access the forum, the code is displayed and not the forum page.
What incredibly naive mistake am I making?

also, config.php should be uploaded to root directory of site and NOT folder containing the forum, correct?

IS your webserver configured for PHP?

No, the forum root.

My webserver is configured for php and the config.php file is in forum root.

I naturally suspect operator (me) error, but can't seem to find it!

I removed the link because it disclosed the content of your config.php file (db usernames, passwords, etc)
Upload a fresh copy of PunBB and make sure to upload ALL the files

Thank you to elbekko and smartys for the help.

After my previous posting screw up, I removed everything and started from scratch. Everything is working now (I think). I believe there were files that did not transfer from the upload directory the first time.

I thank you and hopefully my 5th grade students will thank you when they start using my Homework BB.
It actually doesn't look too bad on the PDAs my students are using.
