Topic: user validation before posting

Hello,

Is there any way to set up a forum so that a newly registered user has to be validated by the forum administrator, before they can post messages to the forum?

Sure smile
Create a new group for new members, give it limited permissions (perhaps the same as Guests), and set it as the default for new users.
Then, when people register, they'll be put in that group. Once an admin logs in, they can check for people in the group and manually "approve" them by moving them into the normal group.
