Topic: Lock post (prevent from editing)
I think this would be a great standard feature for PunBB. When you edit a post make it so that the poster can't edit it anymore, only moderators/administrators can.

It already is a standard feature. Check the group permission page:
Edit posts Yes No
Allow users in this group to edit their own posts.

That's certainly a possible extension for 1.3

Under which circumstances would it make sense just to block one post. At the moment I haven't the imagination when and why a user posting has to be blocked .

I got mod tags, and they work perfect. Only a few of my members have figured out that they can use them, but they got banned.
Elbekko tried to help me make this work yesterday, and it worked, but it stopped working when a member edited his/her post after I placed the mod tag there.

yeah, what i want is:
mods & admins should the only ones that can use the mod tag, and whenever the tag is placed the post should be locked for the poster 
but i guess i'll wait for 1.3 for that! (hope it 'll be here soon)
