Topic: I need some help about viewing forums

if this is possible can someone tell me how

  i want guests to be able to see some of my forums but not the topics inside it  and then when you have a certain amount of posts you can see the topics in the forum and post there

OR if thats not possible

is there a way i can make a message like an annoucement that only guests see telling them to register

i think i would prefer the second way if its possible

Edit the forum in administration and you can choose who can view the forum, who can post topics, and who can reply.

How is it impossible? Set it for guests only to view, and as an administrator you can go post a thread in there telling them to register.

Or just make a redirect forum. Set up the permissions and you'll see it as Administrator and Guests will see it and that's it
