show full text of (recent) entries

Well, Im an absolute PHP-Analphabet, and that's why I chose PunBB.
It was really easy to install and runs prefectly so far.
But, what I need is something in between a guest book and a Forum.
That means, I would like to show rhight in the beginning, what people have written.
Is that possible? Is there an easy to install script for that?
