Hello.
I have recently installed PunBB on my site. I've been using phpBB for some time and have decided to convert.
I attempted to use the convertor utility and unfortunatly, I receieved the error "Unable to check PunBB version" .
Does anyone know what cause this and/or how I can get arround it?
Sounds like you entered the db_prefix for your existing PunBB forum wrong
I actually didn't enter anything into that field because IIRC, since I'm using SQLite, it said to leave that field blank.

Nope, that was database host 
That being said, I'm not sure a conversion to SQLite will work: you should try it though
I'm still having the same problem. Even with a prefix set for PunBB.
The exact error is:
Converter reported: Unable to check PunBB version
Database reported: (Errno: )
(it says nothing from the database, so it looks like it can't connect to the database for some reason.)
As I said, I'm not sure you can convert using SQLite: I think you need to use MySQL
I re-did the forum using MySQL and it seems to have worked.
