Hum, mines small, couldn't find the command in sqlite3 to count rows, but it's 469K, along with a "real new posts" mod I made, so I'mah guess about 500-800 rows.

Then again, I believe I have the size beat, Frank H's attachment mod uses the db to store files? (correct me if I'm wrong), but I use a data directory for my version of a similar mod.

ATM I have roughly 530MB of "music posts", and when I get the time to fix up my mod a bit that will probably climb to about 120Gigs of "music posts" (Have to add in an automated directory walker, with id3 tag reader support and such, I'mah guess a month).

the 2.0 version of the mod moves all storage to files ... so no more database storage on attachments wink

The search feature is one of the less efficient features of PunBB. Using FULLTEXT speeds it up quite a bit tongue

We successfully passed the million posts a couple of weeks ago smile

DB is nearly 1GB I think.
We are developing a sphinxsearch plugin to help us with searches which become a pain (slow and irrelevant) the more the forum grows - and also a couple of other plugins we will release when they are done smile

Thanks to the punbb team for the great piece of software wink (but searches sucks, and cool uris would be nice big_smile)

Share hardware expense with websites that have the same goal, find a provider that loves you, users that love you enough to give you some money, be successful in handling prices down on ebay, spend a lot of time, have many contacts. tongue
