i am attempting to test my site from my local server but it doesnt work...a couple of things that i notice is that is has a problem with cookies and skins and well, i dunno, its simply not working. Im testing PunBB and another script, but i am pretty sure that its my server that has the problem...i dont know if im asking for help or just mentioninh it, but there you go. it sucks.
What software are you using for this server, and how are you accessing it?
dunno, a buddy set it up for me, think its like easyphp or something, and i access it by opening firefox and going to http//localhost/
i imagine that there is a better way of doing this (better software etc, any suggestions lemme know)
Personally I use Wamp for testing. A nice one click install of apache, php and mysql. I haven't had any problems with it. I wouldn't use it for a public facing server though, just for development.

actually, it apperars to be a script problem. it tells me things like unexpected $send or something like that and a host of other things that will allow a script I'm attempting to test, to not run
