Topic: Help with news in the minipo

Hi!
I recently made this site: www.irons.info.se, for my guild in a game.

However, when creating the miniportal, I didn't understand this line:

The welcome block can contain anything you want, including html,

"pun_news(1, 5, 0)" is the news generator the syntax is: pun_news(forum id, number of news to display, truncate news);

This means that i can add news right? What I don't get is how.

Someone please help me, I'd be very grateful. smile

1) Make a new forum section labeled "news"
2) Make a post in it
3) view that forum (not the post, the forum)
4) At the end of the address bar is something like "id=5"
5) now copy that "5" as the first parameter in the call to pun_news
6) The second parameter is the number of news posts you want displayed
7) Dono what that last one is, leave it at 0 I guess 0.o
