Re: What bloat-free CMS works best with PunBB?
A text editor (Crimson Editor for me) + SSH + SFTP (Putty + WinSCP) .
Oh, and a browser (FF2 with the Web Developer extension) and regular access to Google.
That's all the CMS you need.

Q
emergent, TYPO is the grandaddy of CMS systems, their light version is an answer to user's complaints that it was too huge and difficult to deal with.
Bert - I assume you are talking about TYPO3 and not typo, the blogging engine. There is no affiliation between TYPO3 and TYPOlight. (Possibly you haven't been to www.typolight.org or maybe you got your CMS's mixed up.)

Ben
TYPOlight = NICE! thanks.
Yes, I was talking about TYPO3, but you're right, no affiliation.

Just sign up for any decent security newletter, like SANS @Risk (http://www.sans.org/newsletters/?ref=3711#risk) or Secunia's.
In no time you'll be familiar with all the CMS's, old and new.

I subscribe to Secunia's feed, it does bring to light what systems to avoid.
