Topic: PunBB's plugins and the extension system in 1.3

so the plugin system is gone as of 1.3 correct? so all the plugins will need to be rewritten as extensions? what about the PLUGINS offered in the punbb.org's download section? will they be rewritten for 1.3? and by who?

Correct. Considering 9/13 plugins on the download page is created by PunBB devs I guess we'll take care of them.

Same as with mods i'm sure popular ones will be rewritten by their respective authors, I certainly plan to rewrite most if not all of mine.

I plan to actually re-write my modded punbb into extensions so that all the mods I did and haven't had the time to release will be easy to install plugins smile
