Topic: Installation problem

Okay after I install the forums I get this problem

An error was encountered
Error: Unable to write configuration cache file to cache directory. Please make sure PHP has write access to the directory 'cache'.

What can I do to fix it.

Also in the FTP, my Cache folder has nothing in it other then Config.php and .htaccess

You need to change the permission of the cache folder to 777. Your FTP program probably has some way to do this (I know Filezilla does - right click and choose "File Attributes").

Ok I right clicked the file "Cache' and clicked directory info, It comes up with a bunch of numbers, I have no Idea where to change folder to 777.

EDIT: Fixed it thanks alot you saved the day.
