It would be great to have multiple groups for one member.
I know, it produce very intricate select request, but caching may helps.

Well, it took some time, but PunBB is moving toward unicode and hack free. Multigroup is the next one on that list... come back in a couple of years

It's a more "international" adaptation, to get it understood by our British friend over there
