Just wondering if there was a mod that I happened to not see ... or if this could be created.
Instead of having a new password emailed to you if you have forgotten your password, is there anyway to allow it to send the password that is already registered to that username to the email address instead?

No, the passwords are hashed in the database: you can't tell from the hash what the original password was.
