Topic: Changing the administrator's password (oops...)

Yup, I have done the unthinkable. I've set up a forum with a complicated 'hard to guess' password and I've forgotten it.

The e-mail address isn't mine so I can't simply reset the password either, I've tried going through PHPMyAdmin and changing the password manually but that doesn't seem to of worked either sad

So change the email address instead in PHPMyAdmin.

create another user, go into phpmyadmin and change the usergroup id to 1
then log onto it and you are admin on that
