I am sure somebody has already asked that, but...
Every time I edit the page footer, a < appears in front of the footer box. This time I didn't even do it myself, but used the pm mod, and it still does it. Why?

Every time I edit the page footer, a < appears in front of the footer box. This time I didn't even do it myself, but used the pm mod, and it still does it. Why?
you have left a < in the code where you should have removed it or you have it twice, search for << in your files.
I did, but there is nothing. And I did it very carefully, and it only happens when I enter new stuff in the footer
I'm confused, what are you editing?
I am not deleting anything, just adding my copyright ... kind of marking my area
Nobody said deleting, I meant what file are you editing?

When I look at the XHTML code from my browser, in the last line, it is:

Now, in footer.php, it looks like that comes from another file. Does anybody have an idea?
