Topic: Why haven punbb installed mod of it self?

When you have installed forum scrips like phpbb,smf they have pm,and poll. Bott in punbb you nead to install mods,why havent punbb installed mod of it self?

Oftopic: Ok,bott when 1.3 have i to edit the punbb files? Or do the extension it?

1.3 and the extension system will allow mods to be installed WITHOUT touching PunBB source code.
