I have just installed Newsletter.
If I click my menu link for Newletter I get the box with e-mail address and 2 buttons 'subscribe' & 'unsubscribe'
If I fill this in and subscribe, I get another box saying 'I am subscribed' but whet happens next?
How do I send a newsletter?
from the admin CP in the plugin section
If I go to admin I have a header-body-footer section.
What do I do here?
Check the plugins menu on the left in the admin section, click on newsletter, you'd be able to broadcast a new one unless something went wrong during the installation.

Where do I put the newsletter?
That's your newsletter, you have to fill all the fields. I guess that you can leave header and footer empty and just use body.

I have tried putting in some text and html but the emails received are blank!
There is a Template 1 .txt file in a directory Newsletters but the template options drop-down box is empty, is this related?
It might be related but I doubt it's necessary.
