Topic: quick question: where is the base url?
I tried for a couple of minutes and i couldnt find it.

Where is it? In the config table in the db, stored in cache/cache_config.php and set in admin_options. Hope that helps, not sure what you're asking.

BTW, what was that array that had a lot of useful stuff?

And in 1.3 it's in config.php.
In 1.2 you can find it in variable $pun_config['base_url']
