if you have dl version 2.2 the directory you unzip is dafunspirit-2.2 and then it contains :

dafunspirit-2.2/
dafunspirit-2.2/COPYING
dafunspirit-2.2/CREDITS.txt
dafunspirit-2.2/modules/
dafunspirit-2.2/modules/dfss/ => this has to be installed in  /puntal/modules (for example if /puntal/ is the root of puntal)
dafunspirit-2.2/themes/punbb/ => this has to be install in /puntal/themes (for example if /puntal/ is the root of puntal)
dafunspirit-2.2/themes/puntal/ => same as previous directory.

when I instealled puntal.. I do not have a theams folder...

Thats all I have

There is no upload/theams folder that comes with puntal-1.8.7

if you have another version I should download please help because I would love to get this software working!!

I went ahead and added a theams folder to puntal/

but when I uploaded the Dfss theams into that folder nothing worked...

dafunspirit-2.2

has..

dafunspirit-2.2\modules\dfss
dafunspirit-2.2\themes\img
dafunspirit-2.2\themes\punbb

So I put dafunspirit-2.2\modules\dfss

inside

upload/modules

But I do not know where to put...

dafunspirit-2.2\themes\img
dafunspirit-2.2\themes\punbb

because

upload/

does not come with a themes folder...

as i said in my README.txt file DFSS 2.2 is for Puntal 2.x not 1.x wink
so you need to get Puntal 2RC1 (the RC2 is near to be released)

there is no puntal dir because its not used this time.
copy punbb to puntal to fix this issue
but what do you mean by "i still cannot install this" ?
what's the matter ?

when I try and go to the admin.. I get this

then when I do get to the admin... I go to install DFSS and I get taken back to http://gameballa.com/dailychallenges/te … odules.php and nothing happends.. says the page does not work

you forget a / in your path
have a look at the source page

instead of

go to the puntal config page and add the slash

when I click install above a mod, I go to the submit page... then when I hit submit, it takes me to modules.php without installing it...

one time I got it to take me to the index page of puntal but dfss never got installed, even when I went back to see that message your read me says...

the update message is always un able to disable.

DFSS 2.2.1 released and integrates a various goodies ;-)

I'm now preparing a packaging that will include punBB/Puntal and DFSS (like i did before with punBB/puntal 1.x/DFSS 1.x) to simplify the installation as well.

its normal.
this version include picture in the img dir ; images that dont depend on a given theme. (there are image map inside; that's why)
