Topic: mySQL error at install

I can't get past this error while installing:


An error occured on line 58 in file /home/altictea/public_html/forum/include/dblayer/mysql.php.

PunBB reported: Unable to connect to MySQL server. MySQL reported: Access denied for user 'greg'@'localhost' (using password: YES)


I did find a similar post by elmion http://punbb.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=16149 , but I'm running mySQL 5.0.27-standard-log and choosing Standard (and any other option) still produces the error

Sounds like the connection to the database is wrong. Check if user greg and its passwords are correct.
