Topic: help! TLS!

My users are trying to register and being told this
Error: Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the forum administrator with the following error message reported by the SMTP server: "530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first u62sm7000594pyb ".

How can I fix this?
I am looking in email.php in /includes and i can see where it starts talking to the mail server.... where would i add a STARTTLS and what is the syntax?

Seems like it has to do with SSL. Search the forum here, I'm sure there's a fix for it.
