Topic: A Couple Questions

Hello,

I'm new to PunBB, and I have few things I'd like to do with it.

1) Is it possible to place an announcement on the main forum page only? (index.php) I know in the Options menu, there is an option to put an announcement, but this appears on all of the pages...

2) Is it possible to place an an announcement in a specific forum? Kind of like a sticky thread, but the full text is displayed.

Ah ok - are there specific files you could point me to? Or is it uberly complicated?

1. Edit index.php, add a box similar to the pun_announcement box found in header.php
2. Edit viewforum.php, add a box similar to the pun_announcement box found in header.php
